受我校張雅林副校長(zhǎng)邀請(qǐng)，美國(guó)伊利諾伊大學(xué)Dr. Chris Dietrich和Dr. James Zahniser來(lái)我校訪(fǎng)問(wèn)并作4個(gè)學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告：
報(bào)告題目1：An Introduction to Molecular Methods in Insect Systematics
報(bào)告人：Dr. James Zahniser
James Zahniser is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Illinois Natural History Survey. He received his Ph.D. in Entomology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008. He studies the phylogeny, classification, historical biogeography, and taxonomy of the leafhopper subfamily Deltocephalinae.
報(bào)告題目2：Cybertaxonomy: management of morphological data for taxonomy and phylogenetic analysis
Chris Dietrich is Systematic Entomologist at the Illinois Natural History Survey. His activities are Insect systematics; evolution, biodiversity, and conservation of leafhoppers and related insects; curator of Insect Collection and his research are Ongoing projects include phylogenetic analysis and revision of the family-group taxa of Membracoidea (leafhoppers and treehoppers); revisionary studies within several leafhopper subfamilies; inventory and conservation of grassland insect biotas.
